Synopsis
Clouds over the moon, wind over the blossoms.Words possess magical power.In Yashima, an island nation in the Far East, the Maiden of Urd embodies this very truth, acting as the guardian who protects the nation from peril using the magic of her words. She remains silent during peacetime, speaking only in times of crisis. The Mainden protects the nation, and the warrior monks protect the Maiden.However, the protagonist of this story is neither the Maiden of Urd nor the warrior monks who guard her. It is the story of the shadow double — a girl who was commanded to protect the world, and the only one capable of doing so.Clouds gather when the moon rises; wind blows when the flowers bloom.Even if one were to wish it not so.
